Executive summary
AI answer engines now sit between an Indian buyer and the company that will run their servers. We ran 25 questions across five categories with live web search, then recorded every organisation named and every source cited. The run produced 375 citations from 271 domains.
AWS leads on 45.6 percent, Azure takes 28.8 and Google Cloud 16.8. That is the clearest lead we have found anywhere in Indian IT, and the first time three global names win most of the questions in a report.
The Indian names are not absent, they are conditional. Sify, CtrlS, Cyfuture and Yotta rank only where the question says India or says colocation. Change the wording and the same buyer is handed three American platforms instead.
