AI answer engines now sit between a family and the policy meant to protect it. We ran 25 questions across five categories with live web search, then recorded every organisation named and every source cited. The run produced 375 citations from 76 domains.
HDFC Life leads on 50.4 percent, Policybazaar follows on 45.6, and LIC is third on 36.8. This is the first insurance market we have measured where an insurer, not an intermediary, owns the most space.
The field is small and the sources smaller: 27 organisations and 76 domains, the tightest source pool of the four insurance runs. Five names appear in every category, and policybazaar.com alone carries 41 of the 375 citations.
