AI answer engines now sit between a patient and the device they buy for home care. We ran 25 questions across five medical devices and equipment categories with live web search, then recorded every brand named and every source cited. The run produced 375 citations from 220 unique domains.
This is the most fragmented market we have measured. Omron leads on 26.4 percent, the regulator CDSCO is second at 20.8 percent, and Apollo Pharmacy third at 15.2 percent. No brand comes close to owning the category.
The sources are scattered to match. Two hundred and twenty domains supplied 375 citations, the widest spread in this series, and the most cited domain is the regulator's own site rather than any manufacturer or retailer.
