AI answer engines now stand between an Indian borrower and the loan they take. We ran 25 questions across five digital lending categories with live web search, then recorded every brand named and every source cited. The run produced 375 citations from 110 domains.
KreditBee leads on 30.4 percent, but the Reserve Bank of India ranks second at 26.4 percent and ICICI Bank third at 24.8 percent. No lending app comes close to owning this market.
The sources are the story. Those 375 citations came from just 110 domains. The most cited page set belongs to IDFC FIRST Bank, whose blog took 17 citations, ahead of every loan app. Lender owned content dominates here.
