What is the difference between Nifty and Sensex?
The two exchanges take first and second place and neither is cited once. All fifteen sources are brokers and fund houses explaining somebody else's index. NSE Indices owns the Nifty family; the Sensex sits with BSE, whose index subsidiary was renamed BSE Index Services in August 2025.
