The bottom two rows are strong and the page says so early. The disagreement is in the middle three rows, and in what a buyer actually has to purchase to get them.
How the Semrush AI Toolkit works

Semrush describes the toolkit as tracking how a brand and its competitors appear in generative AI search results, analyzing prompts, mentions and citations. It reports through a visibility overview, a brand performance view, competitor research, prompt tracking, and an AI cited media view naming which outlets models quote most. That last one is an offsite surface, and GetXEO publishes no equivalent.
Cadence is published and varies by report. Prompt tracking updates daily, brand performance weekly, and the visibility overview monthly. What a plan actually buys is the custom prompt allowance. GetXEO reads the brand first. It crawls the domain, classifies every URL, and builds a profile every downstream writer reads. It then derives the question universe and curates twenty five queries per pillar, each mapped back to the keyword or question it came from.
Those queries produce one composite score. The dashboard carries AEO, GEO and SEO sub scores, model citation rates and the change since the last scan. So that route suits one brand rather than a portfolio.
The second assumption is that one subscription covers the work. Reporting and the site audit do arrive together. Grading a draft and writing one do not: the Content Toolkit carries both the AI Search Optimizer and the article generator, at sixty dollars a month with five boosted articles included.
None of that makes the product worse. It makes the comparison a question about what you are assembling and who assembles it, which is the honest shape of this decision.

Not measurement, and not crawlability. Semrush is ahead on both and we have said so twice. The edge is the middle of the chain.
The questions. A custom prompt allowance is a budget, and twenty five to two hundred is a tight one for a brand with a wide category. GetXEO derives the question universe by modeling how a buyer behaves while researching, which is meant to surface the situations people describe to an engine rather than the phrases they type. That is a design judgment on our side, and we label it as one. What is measured is the scale of the shift: most B2B buyers now use AI somewhere in the buying process and more than half use it to compare vendors.
The structure. Semrush does plan which pages to create: its prompt research is keyword research for AI, with topic level volume, difficulty and intent. What it does not publish is how that set should be sequenced. A mesh compounds because the relationship is written into the drafts, and a topic list does not supply that.
The craft, and who assembles it. Semrush can generate content, in another toolkit, on another line of the invoice. Research on citation factors finds that pages carrying figures, quotes and citations get named noticeably more often, though the same work ranks off site brand signals ahead of on page craft. Craft is one lever rather than the lever, and the question here is whether one system applies it to every block or a person moves findings between three tools by hand.
What a crawlability check does not answer. Each AI operator crawls under its own user agent and OpenAI documents that a robots change is picked up in about a day, so access is a fast fix once seen. Whether the page then declares its entities, carries Organization markup and renders without a script is a different question, and it is the one the GEO audit is written for.
